What a wonderful time everyone had at Daybreak’s 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk on October 4! Boys and girls, men and women, ages 3 to 74, competed in this year’s 5K, timed by Jud Brooker of Timing, Inc. Congrats to our OVERALL MALE AND FEMALE WINNERS: Ben Mora with a time of 19:01.8 and Melody Venegas timed at 24:28.3.

 Along with the race, everyone enjoyed, once again this year, a delicious pancake breakfast compliments of First Presbyterian’s Chef Richard Wolford. Thank you, Chef! And thanks to Shandon Baptist Church for allowing us to use their portable PA system to announce the 5K winners and top fundraisers. And many, many thanks to our volunteers, client advocates, male mentors, office assistants, board of directors and staff for supporting this event with their hands-on assistance and fervent prayers before, during and after the race.
