Jane Owings
Office Administrator

Jane has been Daybreak’s Office Administrator for over ten years, beginning at the Hampton Street location and currently at the Middleburg Plaza facility. She is the mother of a son and two daughters, mother-in-love to two wonderful men and a precious daughter-in-love. But her proudest title is NANA to her six awesome grandchildren.
Jane’s testimony: “In 1974 I made the biggest mistake of my life – I chose to have an abortion. For 40 plus years I carried that secret, silent shame around with me. I always felt God was leading me to get involved in a Pro-Life ministry to help women who are having to make the choice of life or death for their preborn child. A good friend of mine’s daughter who was working at Daybreak is how I first got involved. I started off as an office volunteer. I was encouraged to go through an abortion recovery bible study. Reluctantly I agreed and I am so thankful I did. It changed my whole life. I found God’s forgiveness and was set free of the guilt and shame I had carried around for choosing abortion.”
Since 2017, Jane has been co-leading Daybreak’s abortion recovery Bible Studies and has seen God change women’s lives and take their hurt and shame and replace it with love, forgiveness and hope. Jane is also the first person that our clients interact with via phone and in person and always shows them the love and compassion of God. She is so very grateful that God brought her to Daybreak and everyone at Daybreak is too!
