Katie Norris, RN
Sonographer

Katie Norris is a graduate of Wofford College and later earned her RN degree from Midlands Technical College. She is blessed to be the wife to Mike and mother of six wonderful children—three boys and three girls—whose ages range from 5 to 23.
Since she was young, she felt drawn to medicine and healthcare, a calling that has been woven into her life’s journey. She became an avid runner during her senior year in college, starting with a mission to raise money for the Leukemia Society—a cause close to her heart, as she lost her father to the disease when she was three years old. Katie continued in this mission as an oncology nurse at Palmetto Health Baptist until taking a temporary leave after the birth of her fifth child to stay at home and parent full-time.
Katie is a member of Shandon Baptist Church and Bible Study Fellowship where she enjoys volunteering leading the children’s program. She is passionate about sharing the lessons God has taught her with her children and anyone He places in her life. One of her favorite books of the Bible is Joel, which reminds us of the devastation that life without God brings but also of the beautiful restoration He offers (Joel 2:25).
“It is an honor and privilege to work at Daybreak as a sonographer, alongside an incredible team,” says Katie. “It is such a blessing to be part of a ministry that aligns so closely with my heart. My hope is to encourage others with the joy and healing I’ve found in His grace.”
