Meredith Berry-DeWolfe, RN
Sonographer
Meredith Berry-DeWolfe is a graduate of Midlands Technical College, where she received her RN degree after spending five years as an LPN. She is blessed with two beautiful, truly miraculous children—a 3-year-old boy and an 18-month-old girl—alongside her husband, Chevy.
Long before obtaining her licensure, Meredith had a passion for health and medicine. While Meredith was in nursing school, she was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and underwent treatment through a cardiac ablation. Praise the Lord, she has been without any further complications from the arrhythmia! This experience led her to work at both Providence Health and Prisma Health at the Heart Hospital.
Meredith and her little family are members of GraceLife Church in Columbia, S.C. She serves on the prayer team, and her husband, Chevy, serves on the security team. One of her many favorite verses in the Bible is Jeremiah 29:11, and in her personal Bible, you would find numerous notes among the many teachings and letters of the Apostle Paul.
After being blessed with her second child, the Lord provided a way for Meredith to stay home with her two young children. It was during this time that the opportunity to volunteer at Daybreak came about. She began volunteering at Daybreak as a Client Advocate and is now serving as a sonographer. Her connection to Daybreak actually goes back more than 15 years, when she volunteered as an LPN at Daybreak’s previous office just down the road.
Meredith shares, “A verse I’m heavily relying on during a difficult season of my life, as I face a new Scoliosis diagnosis, is 2 Corinthians 12:9, ‘But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me.’”
